VIDEO: Kotoko train in on astroturf ahead of  Kano Pillars clash

Ghana Premier League giant, Kumasi Asante Kotoko started training on Monday on the astroturf pitch at the Accra Academy School Park as they continued preparations for their clash against Kano Pillars in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.

The Ghanaian club has been paired with the Nigerian side in the first round of CAF’s top-tier inter-club competition.

The first leg will be played at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Nigeria which is an astroturf.

In a bid to get players used to the surface of the astroturf, they have decided to train at the artificial pitch at the Accra Academy School Park.

The first leg of the match between Kotoko and Kano Pillars comes off on Saturday, August 10, 2019.
