FC Nordsjaelland midfielder Kudus Mohammed bagged his first goal for the Black Stars of Ghana in the 80th minute as they defeated South Africa 2-0 in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Thursday evening.
Mohammed scored a sublime goal to double Ghana's lead at the Cape Coast Stadium after Thomas Partey had given coach Kwesi Appiah's side a 1-0 lead before the first half.
The 19-year-old was handed a the call-up to the senior national team of Ghana following his impressive display in the Danish Super Liga.
The highly-rated youngster has scored five goals in 11 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland in all competitions so far this season.
He has previously featured for Ghana at the U-17 and U-20 level.
