VIDEO: Latif Blessing scores as LAFC reach MLS is Back Tournament quarter-final

Ghanaian winger Latif Blessing scored for LAFC as they thrashed Seattle Sounders 4-1 to reach the quarter-final of the MLS is Back Tournament.

The 23-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game as his side thrashed The MLS champions.

Diego Rossi opened the scoring for LAFC in the 14th minute of the game from the penalty spot before Blessing doubled their advantage in the 39th minute after his curling shot deflected off Shane O’Neill’s arm to make it 2-0.

After the recess, Seattle halves the deficit in the 75th-minute courtesy Will Bruin's strike but LAFC started to pull away in the 82nd minute, as Rossi capitalized on an Arreaga turnover to easily make it 3-1.

Brian Rodriguez then added a fourth in the 89th minute, cutting onto his left foot and finishing back across goal to seal a comfortable victory for LAFC.

The Black & Gold will now face Orlando City in the quarterfinals on Friday.
