The 24-year-old climbed off the bench to find the back of the net as his side sealed all three points at the Lotto Park.

Anderlecht took a 2-0 by the 54th minute when Sergio Gómez converted a spot-kick before the halftime whistle and an own goal from Lawrence Shankland.

However, Shankland reduced the deficit in the 56th minute before Ivorian Christian Kouamé restored Anderlecht's two-goal lead in the 69th minute.

Ashimeru, who had replaced Kristoffer Olsson in the 75th minute did not take long to find the back of the net to make it 4-1.
