VIDEO: Manchester City Release Tunnel Footage Following Fiery Chelsea Match

Published on: 05 December 2016

The clash between Manchester City and Chelsea on Saturday was probably the mostentertaining match of the Premier League season so far.

City took the lead through a Gary Cahill own goal, but goals from Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard secured an impressive win for Antonio Conte's side.

The match was marred by ugly scenes at the end of the game, with Sergio Aguero seeing red for a disgracefully high challenge on David Luiz before Fernandinho was sent off for an altercation with Cesc Fabregas.

Somewhat surprisingly City have released tunnel footage from the match, but those hoping to see further bust-ups will be left disappointed. All things were civil before the game, with the likes of Martin Tyler, John Terry and Graeme Le Saux seenconversing while City and Chelsea players prepared towarm up before the game.

Half-time came and went without any particular sense of anger between the two sets of players, with City players entering the tunnel having just taken the lead before the break.

Following the fisticuffs at the end of the game fans would have been hoping to see some tasty post-match footage of both Aguero and Fernandinho displaying their displeasure at their dismissals, but City's filmmakers either couldn't get the shots or have been instructed not to upload anything of interest. The best footage we see is that of Yaya Toure and Oscar exchanging shirts, while Kevin De Bruyne embraces some former Chelsea colleagues.

Disappointing viewing for sure, given the game's feisty ending.
