VIDEO: Spain Striker Alvaro Morata Gunning for De Gea's Position After Pulling Off Stunning Saves

David de Gea watch out! After ousting Iker Casillas from the Spain No1 spot, it seems as if the Manchester United shot-stopper has another challenger in his way:

Alvaro Morata.

The Real Madrid striker hasn't had the best of times for hisclub so far this season, what with an out-of-sorts Karim Benzema keeping him on the bench; to make matters worse, Morata has had to watch on helplesslywhile his teamhavesuccumbed to four consecutive draws.

To make matters EVEN worse,Morata is likely to be second choice behind the rejuvenated Diego Costa for the national side.

Perhaps in light of all this, the former Juventus man has decided to try a new position altogether and is nowstaking a claim for De Gea's spot...and helooks pretty good!

All jokes aside, having trained with the likes of Gigi Buffon, Iker Casillas and De Gea, it's understandableMorata has picked up a few tips along the wayand all three would be proud with just how agile he looked across his line, palming away shots at will during aSpain training session.

Unlike De Gea against Stoke City over the weekend, Morata batted the shots away from danger and the United man could be sweating for his place in Spain's World Cup qualifying match against Italy on Thursday.

It will be an intriguingreturn to Italy for Morata after enjoying two years in Turin with Juventus, but the 23-year-old has revealed a mootedJanuary return to the Serie A champions will be 'impossible.'
