VIDEO: Watch Bayern Munich Ace Resort to Amusing Tactics During 'Piggy in the Middle' Training Drill

Bayern Munich. They're pretty good at playing 'Piggy in the middle' aren't they?

The German giants' first-team squad regularly take part in the game during sessions at their Sabanese Strasse training base and, such is the quality of control and passing within the senior setup, you don't want to be the unfortunate team-mate tasked with taking the ball off your fellow players.

Thomas Muller was subjected to being the 'piggy in the middle' during a recent game and, after getting so fed up at being unable to get the ball, he resorted to hilarious tactics to try and outsmart his team-mates. Check it out below (clip starts at 0:05):

Rather than tear around the pitch trying to nick the ball, Muller goes flat out into slide tackle mode in a bid to wrest control of the ball off his team-mates.

It's certainly an unconventional way of getting the ball, but he does just that when he finally secures possession off Arjen Robben.

It would be interesting to see if any of his colleagues resort to such tactics when they're the unfortunate piggy..
