Ghana international Daniel Amartey was on the scoresheet on Saturday when his Leicester City outfit drew 1-1 against Blackburn Rovers in a pre-season friendly match.
The versatile defender has been out of action at the King Power Stadium for almost 2 years due to several injury setbacks that have seen him being ditched for the first-team action.
Now back to full fitness, Daniel Amartey had the chance to play for Leicester City yesterday during a pre-season friendly clash against Championship club Blackburn Rovers.
Having put in a good shift, the Black Stars asset finished his day on the field with a headed goal that ensured the Foxes avoided a defeat against the lower-tier club.
The player has made quite the impression in pre-season under manager Brendan Rodgers and is now hoping for first-team action in the 2020/2021 football season.
