Accra Hearts of Oak has held its final training session today ahead of their meeting with Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League this Sunday.
The Phobians after losing their first match of the season against Berekum Chelsea have turned attention to Match Week 2 of the 2019/2020 top-flight season hoping to record a win to get back on track.
Their opponent, Medeama S won its first match of the season with a 3-1 victory against Ebusua Dwarfs at away.
Now set for a cracking showdown, the stakes are high for the two giants of Ghana football to go head to head.
Hearts of Oak could be at a disadvantage after sacking first-team coach and Director of Football Kim Grant. They have now named youth trainer Edward Nii Odoom as the team’s interim coach.
He guided the team at training in Tarkwa today as they look forward to tomorrow’s showdown with the Yellow and Mauves at the Akoon Community Park. The match will kick-off at 15:00GMT.
