VIDEO: Watch Nasiru Mohammed’s FIRST goal Levski Sofia in Bulgarian top-flight league

Published on: 13 July 2020

Ghanaian international Nasiru Mohammed scored his first goal for Levski Sofia on Sunday evening when his side lost to Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the Bulgarian top-flight league.

The winger joined the club from Swedish giants HB Hacken in 2019 after spending as many as 7 seasons at the club.

Since his arrival in Bulgaria, Nasiru Mohammed has struggled to replicate his form at his old club, amounting to speculations that he could be offloaded at the end of the season.

Yesterday, the winger displayed a fine form for Levski Sofia in their Matchday 31 fixture against Lokomotiv Plovdiv and went on to register his name on the scoresheet.

His goal on the 6th minute was canceled out by Lokomotiv Plovdiv attacker Dominique Malonga on the 33rd minute.

Unfortunately for Levski, their efforts will not be enough at the end of the 90 minutes with Dominique Malonga grabbing his second on the 77th minute to hand the visitors the win.

After 10 appearances before netting his first goal, Nasiru Mohammed will hope to get more starting roles in subsequent games to rediscover his form.
