Accra Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttall believes Vincent Atinga showed leadership by stepping up to take the team's decisive penalty that won the day for his side last Sunday. The stout central defender was the man of the moment when when referee Samuel Sukah awarded Hearts a penalty after Ahmed Adams handled the ball in the box in the 83rd minute of last Sunday’s Superclash. Atinga, went on to beat the goalkeeper from the spot to gift Hearts all three points against Kotoko. “I think that [Vincent] Atinga has equipped himself very, very well over the time I have been here,” Nuttall told accraheartsofoaksc.com. “He has shown a lot of leadership qualities and I have been very pleased with him. For him to step up to take the penalty shows huge personality and characteristics of leadership and that is what we want,” he added.
