Assistant Coach of Ghana Champions, Wa All Stars Coach Abuabakar Bleliever has ruled out the club’s title defence but insists a top four finish is possible.

The Ghanaian Champions lost in the match day 19 against Kumasi Asante Kotoko 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to dampen any realistic chance of retaining the title.

The Northern Blues have struggled this season lying 11th on the table with just 24 points. But, Coach Believer who is pessimistic about the sides chances of retaining the league was hopeful of a top four finish.

"To be honest the title has eluded Wa All Stars, but I think if we put our pieces together we can get a top four finish this season. We are working hard every day to finish the season very well,” he said after the game. "For the ultimate, it is impossible for us this season", added Coach Believer.

Wa All stars will return to the north where they will host Tema Youth in the match day 20 in midweek.

The Northern Blues have been boosted by the returns of Captain Hafiz Adams and Maxwell Baako who had a good day over the weekend against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
