Wa All Stars coach John Paintsil feels bitter following recent dejection by backroom staff

Head coach for Wa All Stars, John Paintsil has expressed his disappointment in his backroom staff after they failed to offer any support when he was dragged out of the team’s training grounds on December 10.

On the said day, former Black Stars defender was forcefully driven away from the team’s training grounds by Frederick Agbenyo who was in the company of a "macho" man.

Recounting his ordeal in an interview with Fox FM, John Paintsil shared that his bitterness is due to the fact that he brought the men on his technical bench to the club.

“I'm more than a coach there (at Wa All Stars) so what belongs to you you don't take it by violent means, so I willingly left the pitch, but what makes me more disappointed is that my technical men I brought turned their back [on me] then they are with them doing those things to me”, the coach said.

He continued, “I don't want to do anything that will destroy what we are building and at the end of the day what happened that day I think, affected all the players”

"For me I don't know whether it is good to help people or rather better you don't, so it will be advice to a lot of people because they should understand that I'm not just the coach and nobody is sacking me to take my job, I brought you so they should advise themselves whatever they are doing”.

John Paintsil who is also a shareholder of Wa All Stars is currently making plans to secure a CAF License A certificate that will enable him to coach the club in the Ghana Premier League.
