West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC youngster Richard Danso is closing in on a move to Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel despite spending weeks at Club Africain, according to GHANAsoccernet.com sources.
The 18 year-old arrived in the north African country in November 2018 over a possible move to Club Africain and had training sessions with them.
Danso was expected to sign for coach Bertrand Marchand’s side but there is has been a twist.
The goal poacher has now attracted interest from Etoile du Sahel who are keen to secure the signing of the striker ahead of their rivals.
Esperance de Tunis are also reportedly interested in acquiring the services of the talented footballer.
He is a key cog of the Ghana U20 team. He scored twice to aid the Black Satellites to book their place in the 2019 U20 AFCON.
He also played an instrumental role for Ghana at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India.
