WAFA SC midfielder, Lawrence Agyekum was left feeling a lot of disappointment over the weekend after his team drew 2-2 against Legon Cities FC.
The teenager was in action for his team on Sunday afternoon when his team hosted the matchday 4 opponent of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
Although WAFA SC was the better team on the day, a good performance from Legon Cities FC saw the team forcing the match to end in a 2-2 draw.
In a post-match interview, Lawrence Agyekum has lauded the opponent for their good performance.
”It was a good game. We played very well today unlike the other games where we struggled to pitch passes and get to our tempo, we did well to keep possessions than our opponents.
“They surprised us with how they played today, we didn’t expect them to give us a run like this but all we got was a draw which we intend to build on although am a little disappointed,” he told Saharafootball in an interview.
