West African Football Academy SC (WAFA) centre back defender Kennedy Boateng has sealed a move to play in Austria after signing with the oldest football club in Austria, Linzer-Athletik-Sport-Klub.

Boateng signed a three year deal with the Austrian 1. Liga side LASK Linz expected to run out in the summer of 2019.

The utility defensive player, who can play any role in defense, scored three goals for the Sogakope-based football Academy in the Ghana Premier League and will be hoping to build upon his fine form with the Die Laskler.
