Black Queens head coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo is confident her side will defeat 2018 AWCON winners Nigeria in the semi-final of the on-going 2019 WAFU Zone B Cup of Nations in Abidjan on Thursday.
Ghana finished as runners-up in Group A behind hosts Ivory Coast to set up a semi-final clash with the Super Falcons who were top of Group B.
The 45-year-old gaffer believes the quality of the players will help them register supremacy over the Super Falcons despite assembling virtually a new team.
"This is a new team with only about six of the old players in this tournament," she told Goal.com.
"I know it will not be easy but the players have done well so far. It’s a young team and we are in a rebuilding process.
"I have a lot of positive because Ghana is blessed with so many talents. We just need time and proper conditions to groom them."
