WAFU Zone B U-17 Championships: Coach Karim Zito set to ring changes for Ghana's clash with Togo

Black Starlets of Ghana head coach Karim Zito plans to make changes to his team after 0-0 stalemate with hosts Niger in the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 championships.

Ghana missed a golden opportunity to secure early qualification and willl face Togo in their next outing on Saturday.

A win over their West African neighbors will guarante progress in the competition as the new tournament is being used as qualification to next year’s U-17 CAF Africa Cup to be staged in Tanzania.

Only the winner will secure qualification to the Africa Cup finals.

Coach Karim Zito is now looking to ring changes that will see his side secure the much-needed win over Togo.

“There will definitely be changes in the team,” he said.

“Not only with the personnel but also in the tactical approach.

“These changes is to help the team adjust to the situation here and ultimately get us the win we want.”
