Wahab Adams wants Kotoko fans to learn from Hearts supporters

Newly signed Kuamasi Asante Kotoko defender has called on the fans of the club to emulate their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in their way of supporting the team. 

Asante Kotoko, undoubtedly have the largest fan base in Ghana but have shown lukewarm attitudes when thing aren't going on well for the club.

According to the former Aduana Stars defender, Kotoko fans can pick a thing or two form the books of Hearts interms of supporting the Porcupine Warriors on the field.

“When we played Hearts of Oak here [Kumasi], you could see they [Hearts of Oak] very small number of fans here but they still overpowered our fans and it gave their players so mush morale,” Wahab said.

"I will suggest to our fans to do same because football is about fans."

Fans of both clubs have established displeasure in recent times due to the dwindling fortunes of both clubs. Kotoko, despite winning the FA Cup have looking increasingly unconvincing in the offseason after losing to to Aduana in the Super Cup.

Meanwhile, fans of Hearts have complained over the clubs transfer activities.
