Wahab Akwei leaves Inter Allies after four years

Inter Allies defender Wahab Akwei has finally left the club after four year. 

The player who has been a key member of the team since their arrival in the Ghana Premier League will looks elsewhere for a new club, with Accra Hearts of Oak reported to be interested in the player.

Akwei played several of the club's games last season and was Captain in the absence of Isaac Twum, he scored two goals and was influential as the club avoided relegation.

His departure means new Coach Keinehi Yatuhasi has to find a replacement for him as they prepare for the upcoming season.

The club have already began preseason and this will provide some young players the opportunity to fight for a place in the team.

Inter Allies have rough in Samuel Armah Michael Otou and expatriates Afeez Aremu Olalekan and Victorien Adje Njie.
