Wakaso stepped on the pitch again in a game, 615 days after the last time he had done it and this would have been an excellent gift for the midfielder who turned 29 last Thursday.

The Ghanaian entered the last minute of the encounter with Moreirense, when, in what would be the last move of the match, the light went down and the team had to defend themselves from a corner kick favorable to them.

Alhassan Wakaso joined Vitoria Guimaraes in 2017 from the French Ligue 1 side for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder's current market value is €2,400,000 and his contract with Vitoria Guimaraes ends at the of this season.
