Ghanaian international Mubarak Wakaso has revealed the reason why his display picture on his Twitter profile features Argentina and FC Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
The former Deportivo Alaves midfielder has himself playing against the football magician in the Spanish La Liga.
Asked by a fan why he has that as his display picture, Mubarak Wakaso has disclosed that it is because he is proud to have played against one of the greatest players of the game.
“Proud bro, I have the same field with one of the world greatest”, the Black Stars midfield enforcer said to reply to the fan on Twitter.
Wakaso had the opportunity to play against Lionel Messi on several occasions after playing 8 years in Spain. During that time, the Ghanaian played for the likes of Elche, Villarreal, Espanyol, Las Palmas, Granada, and Deportivo Alaves.
