Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso trained today for the second day his teammates.
His exercises with a protective splint on his right hand and, if no problems arise, he will be in the derby on Sunday. The joint was injured in the last league duel against Valladolid and has had to undergo microsurgery to repair a fracture in the metacarpus.
Wakaso withdrew from Ghana's 2021 Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
