Waris among top European players who became instant hits after winter moves

Ghanaian international Majeed Warris has been rated amongst the top players to have made an instant impact after making moves in the winter transfer window.

The striker secured a transfer to French Ligue 1 side Racing Strasbourg in the last window from Portuguese giants FC Porto.

Since completing that switch, Warris has had an instant impact in his new environment. He started off by climbing off the bench to score against Toulouse before subsequently marking his full debut against Stade Reims with another goal some 3 days later.

Arguably the best buy of the winter transfer window, 19-year-old Erling Braut Håland who joined Borussia Dortmund in the winter window from RB Salzburg is making headways in Europe and all over the world. He joined the Yellow and Blacks for 25M Euros and has netted 8 goals in his first four matches of the season.

Also on the list of players making an instant impact, Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes to mind. Since his switch to Italian Serie A giants AC Milan, he has revived their spirit and looks to have added some winning mentality to the side. The veteran striker has 3 goals to his name already after making five appearances.

Karl Toko Ekambi and Musa Barrow are the other two regarded as players making an instant impact at their new clubs.
