Waris and Kwateng set to miss FC Nantes’ French Cup tie

Ghanaian pair Abdul Majeed Waris and Enoch Kwateng are set to miss FC Nantes' French Cup tie against LB Châteauroux on January 4 following the accumulations of yellow cards.

The duo have picked up three yellow cards each in their last ten games so far this season leading to a match ban in France.

Waris, 27 and Kwateng, 21, were both cautioned in Nantes 2-1 defeat to Stade Rennais in match day 16 of the French League on December 19.

The former Lorient forward bagged the only goal for the Les Canaris' in the game as Stade Rennais came from behind to win the match.

Ghanaian youngster Enoch Kwateng has been a key cog for Nantes this term, featuring in 15 games in the first round of the Ligue 1  and assisting once.

The French born defender is yet to break his deadlock in the campaign.

Meanwhile, compatriot and on-loan FC Porto forward has made 16 appearances and scored once for Nantes this term.
