A display of dominance by Asante Kotoko on Sunday night saw the side cruising past Bibiani Gold Stars with a 5-0 win.
Nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, the team based in Kumasi hosted the matchday 20 opponent of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
With an outstanding performance throughout the 90 minutes, Asante Kotoko had scored two goals before the end of the first half.
Forward Georges Mfegue scored in the 32nd minute to open the scoring for the home team.
Four minutes later, the Cameroonian was presented with another chance and made it count as he increased the lead for his team.
After recess, goals from Augustine Agyapong, Frank Mbella Etouga, and Samuel Boateng propelled Asante Kotoko to record a massive 5-0 win against Bibiani Gold Stars at full time.
The victory sees Asante Kotoko increase their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
