The Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko, Lawyer Sarfo Doku has refuted reports his outfit has reached an agreement to play the Black Stars should the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone is cancelled.
CAF is expected to communicate to the normalization committee on whether the game will go ahead as planned following Sierra Leone’s ban by FIFA.
Speaking to Starr Sports, Lawyer Sarfo Doku who speaks for the Porcupine Warriors insists they have not been approached by the Normalization committee with any proposal for a friendly.
“There’s been rumour going round that we will play against the Black Stars if their AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone fails to materialize," he told Starr Sports
“To the best of my knowledge, there has not been any official communication from the normalization Committee ”
“Should the request come, management will have to take a decision on that," he added.
