Uganda coach Moses Basena says they will not underrate Ghana going into their penultimate  Fifa World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

The Black Stars go into the game without several known faces including skipper Asamoah Gyan, Jonathan Mensah and Harrison Afful, after they failed to recover from injuries. Also, Andre and Jordan Ayew are not part of the squad after coach Kwesi Appiah revealed his intention to test new players.

But Basena in a chat with Kumasi based radio station Nhyira FM noted that they are ready to face whichever team Ghana will present

"Uganda are well prepared for the game on Saturday. We have heard of stories but we don't care who is coming and who is not coming," Basena told Nhyira FM.

"What we know is that we are playing the Black Stars of Ghana and we won't underrate them. Whether the team is without the Ayew brothers as well as captain Asamoah Gyan, we're determined to win the game and hope for the best in the last round of matches. I've advised the players against complacency," he added.
