Legon Cities' spokesman Kwame Dwomoh has expressed confidence in his team's preparations, stating that they are preparing very well to take on defending champions Asante Kotoko.
This statement has only added to the excitement surrounding the upcoming match and has left fans wondering what strategies Legon Cities has put in place to try and claim victory over Asante Kotoko.
"The match will go on as planned and preparations are ongoing like I say everyday the league is not an event for the whole season. So when you complete one game then you start preparing for the next match. For the last two days we are preparing for the match against Asante Kotoko after our game against Great Olympics. We are preparing and hoping the game will come on tomorrow," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
On why the game will be played at the El Wak Stadium Kwame Dwomoh said
"Previously we played at the Accra Sports Sports Stadium if you will remember towards December we got a letter from the sports authority that some events will be going on so the clubs should look for other venues. Previously too we had tried El Wak we renovated the place a bit and put the place in shape to play our home matches.
"That is where we have been playing our home matches since. We felt that once we have gotten used to that particular venue there is no need to be going back and forth so we should stay at El Wak. That is why we will be playing the game at the El Wak Stadium,"
