Amos Frimpong joined Eleven Wonders in the recently closed transfer window after leaving Guinean club Kaloum Stars, whom he moved to after leaving Kotoko in 2019.

In an interview with Gye Nyame FM in Kumasi, he said that Eleven Wonders are prepared for the game against Kotoko and that he intends to score against his former club.

"We are very ready for Asante Kotoko, each player is adhering to the coaches instructions," he said

"Most of my fans are Asante Kotoko supporters and I’m pleading on them to at least support me because we need the points than they do. Even though they are Kotoko fans, they should support me for just today and resume their support for Kotoko afterwards,"

”I will definitely score a goal tomorrow but I will raise my hands in forgiveness and decline any form of celebration", he ended.
