Former Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak player Anas Seidu have passionately appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to honour the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations winners with their promised houses.

General Ignatius Kutu Acheampong, the late head of state, gave that guarantee to each Black Stars player if they won the championship, which they achieved on home soil.

Seidu asks His Excellency Nana Addo to consider his request urgently because most squad members are dying, and he also wants to see the promise fulfilled before he dies.

"We were promised when we won the 78 by Kutu Acheampong he will give us one estate each all of us. We are 25 it didn't come Rawlings came and make coup then that is all. We talk about it nobody mind us we have our seniors Ibrahim Sunday, Osei Kofi, Willy Klutse, and others," he said on Ernest Brew Smith Show as monitored by Footballghana.com

"They are alive we talk nobody mind us Polo went to President I think he talk about it but I don't know if they will give they don't give I don't know. If they will give us cars it is ok the building is not easy to build a house it is not easy. One one cars it is ok people dying most of us they die our number 4 he die. Yes i want the government to fulfill the promise before I die,"
