Experienced striker, Asamoah Gyan has noted that his Legon Cities FC stands a good chance of beating Dreams FC this weekend if the team displays the right attitude and mentality on the matchday.
The legendary Ghana forward after missing the first two matches of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season finally marked his debut on Matchday 3 when the team drew goalless with Medeama SC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With 20 minutes played in the second half, Asamoah Gyan says he picked up a lot of positives from his teammates. According to him, the team will defeat Dreams FC in the coming weekend if they go into the game with the same mentality.
“If we go to the game with the same attitude, the same mentality, I think we can be able to do something positive there [in Dawu]. I believe in the boys and I think this is just the beginning. We started slowly in this league.
"Today’s game has given me more energy, more positive thinking to approach the next game. In the next game if we are able to approach the game with this same attitude I think we can win the game," Asamoah Gyan said in a post-match interview.
The Legon Cities fixture against Dreams FC comes off this Saturday, December 5, 2020.
