We cannot be intimidated in Africa - Asante Kotoko Accra rep Edmund Ackah

Asante Kotoko Accra Representative Edmund Ackah says the club cannot be intimated in Africa ahead of the return leg tie of the Caf Champions League against Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia.

The Porcupine Warriors sealed a 2-0 win the Tunisian giants at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Sunday with goals from Augustine Okrah and striker Richard Arthur in either half.

Despite the win, the Reds' fans are scared of the North African side dreadful reception to visiting teams in CAF inter-club competitions.

But the experienced football administrators says there will be no excuse if they fail to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League.

"We are very much prepared for anything that will happen in Tunisia. Kotoko is a big boy in Africa and we have experienced in matters like this", Ackah told Sports Express on Royal TV.

"We will have no excuse if we fail to qualify because we are aware of whatever they would want to do . There is so much quality in Kotoko and we will chance on it to secure quantification" he stated.

Asante Kotoko will travel to Tunisia to play Etoile du Sahel on September 27 in the second leg encounter.
