We conceded cheap goals against Kotoko – Samartex coach Annor Walker

Samartex trainer Annor Walker is unhappy about his outfits defeat to Asante Kotoko in matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 2-1 win over Samartex at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon. It was their third away win of the season.

The Porcupine Warriors took the lead in the 18th minute through Enock Morrison in the 18th minute. Rocky Dwamena netted Kotoko’s second before half time.

The Timber Giants pulled one back through Acquah in the 69th minute but couldn’t prevent Kotoko from doing the double over them this season.

After the game, Annor Walker asserted his outfit conceded cheap goals against the Ghanaian giants.

"This is not a match we should have lost. We gave away 2 cheap goals to Kotoko and I think this has caused me lot. So it's really a painful defeat to me.

"The second half we played all the game. We could have even equalized at least to draw the game but that is the will of the Almighty” he told StarTimes.

Samartex are 9th on the league table with 30 points after 22 matches into the 2022/23 campaign.
