We did not had our day against Asante Kotoko - Aduana Stars coach Joseph Asare Bediako

Aduana Stars head coach, Asare Bediako, says his side were unlucky against Asante Kotoko last Saturday.

The two times Ghana Premier League champions shared spoils with the Porcupine Warriors in the matchday 27 games at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Bediako speaking after the game said his players were unlucky to miss the numerous chances.

“I would say luck didn’t smile on us. I think it was a 50-50 game…We got the chances we couldn’t utilize them," he said after the game.

He continued that taking out key players from Kotoko’s build up aided in keeping the Reds blank.

“We map up some strategy that if you don’t know football you would think they were dominating but we were just looking out for some individual players, (Salifu) Mudasiru and (Fabio) Gama.

"They are perfect players, good dribblers so we map up a strategy to break them down," he added.

Aduana Stars are positioned 8th with 40 points following the stalemate while Asante Kotoko sits 2nd on 47 points.

Asante Kotoko will host Ashgold at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium while Aduana Stars will be hosted by Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium in the matchday 28 games this weekend.
