We didn't take our chances against Legon Cities - Kotoko coach Seydou Zerbo

Seydou Zerbo, the head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, lamented his team's wasted opportunities after they were held to a stunning 1-1 draw at home by Legon Cities.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, against Maxwell Konadu's Legon Cities, Coach Zerbo feels that his team had several chances to win all three points.

Sadat Mohammed scored in the opening four minutes of the second half to equal Steven Mukwala's goal from the 16th minute.

“As you just said we came all out to win this game but having a point is okay. We will go back to the drawing board and correct our mistakes," he said after the game.

"Is unfortunate that we’ve been getting chances but we are not able to utilize it. Is very unfortunate but we will go back and work so that in our subsequent matches when we get these types of opportunities we can utilize them,”

The Porcupine Warriors will take on Real Tamale United in their next game while Legon Cities will play Bibiani Gold Stars.
