Inter Allies assistant coach John Eduafo said his side lost because they failed to take their chances against Elmina Sharks last Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.

Benjamin Tweneboah's lone strike was enough as the Accra-based side lost 1-0 at the Nduom Complex.

The defeat condemned Inter Allies to three losses in the spin following earlier defeats to King Faisal, Bechem United as pressure continues to mount on coach Henrikh Lehm.

"We have lost because we didn’t take our chances," Eduafo said at a post-match press conference.

"In the first 30minutes, we were on top. We were getting all the chances but it was rather unfortunate that our attackers didn’t make good use of those chances."

He added, "The opponent had one chance and they made good use of it. So, we have lost it. It is one of those things in football. It is not that our team was tired were tired and couldn’t play."

"Just that we have lost but we stayed focus. Our team played together and it was a very compact game. We defended very just that we conceded."
