Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Legon Cities FC, Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang has rubbished reports indicating that the club has sacked 20 players from the team.
In the last 24 hours, there has been several reports in the Ghanaian media insisting that the rebranded Wa All Stars club is looking to bring in top-notch players in preparation for the resumption of the Ghana Premier League.
In line with that, the reports had said that they have decided to abrogate the contracts of as many as 20 players to give way for the new players.
Speaking to Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang on the issue, he has confirmed to footballghana.com that it is not true.
Meanwhile, Legon Cities FC continues to negotiate with players and is expected to bring in some new legs to help them when the Ghana Premier League resumes.
