The former Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko goalkeeper was part of the twenty-one Ghanaian footballers who were stranded in Ethiopia after the football season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Players have been moving out of the country over the years due to poor player welfare and mismanagemnet of players by club owners.

“Fellow Ghanaian footballers (Male & Female) Let’s all speak one language for our welfare and the betterment of our football,” Muntari Tagoe tweeted.
