The head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, Frimpong Manso is upbeat ahead of the start of the season although his side lost its last but one pre-season friendly against Asante Kotoko.

The gaffer was on the touchline on Wednesday when his team suffered a 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko in a warm-up game.

Speaking after the game, Coach Frimpong Manso said his team picked up a lot of positives from the defeat.

“Our pre-season has been very successful. This was our 6th game. We have lost 1-0 but there were a lot of positives from this game. The small things that we think haven’t gone well is what we will work on before the start of the season,” coach Frimpong Manso said.

He continued, “We will move back to Bibiani tomorrow and then have a final pre-season friendly match to get ready for the upcoming campaign. We have improved and we need the support of the team.”

Under coach Frimpong Manso, Bibiani Gold Stars will look to compete for trophies in the 2024/25 football season.
