Eric Bekoe has called for massive support from fans ahead of the Asante Kotoko CAF Confederations Cup campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors will be representing Ghana in CAF inter-club competition after they were given light by the Normalisation Committee due to the suspension of the Ghana Premier League.
The Reds have stepped up preparations as they await their opponent in the first round of the competition.
According to the former Asante Kotoko striker, he stressed that it is important Ghanaians rally support behind the team ahead of their Africa campaign where they seek to do better than their previous outing.
"It's very important to support the team. This is not the time to plot against the Kotoko," Bekoe told Kickgh.com.
"I've seen that there is a cohesion and teamwork. Also, there is a good rapport between the players."
"And I know with the very short time, they can do something. You can see that they're not just going to be a walkover but to bring glory to the country," he ended.
