The head coach for the Morocco male senior national team, Vahid Halilhodzic has admitted that his team had a very tough time when they faced Ghana earlier this week.

Last Tuesday, the Atlas Lions hosted the Black Stars in Rabat in the first of two friendly matches scheduled to be played this week.

Although Morocco managed to win by a goal to nil at the end of 90 minutes, head coach Vahid Halilhodzic says it was a difficult match against a strong opponent.

"The opponent was a strong match, and the players are tired because the season was tough with their clubs. We will study the conclusions of this friendly calmly, and evaluate everything objectively, before the next Burkina Faso match,” the Welsh tactician shared after the game.

Coach Vahid Halilhodzic continued, "There are things that I certainly did not like, but they are not bad enough. I am satisfied with creating many chances against a strong and respected team, and the positive things were more this time.”

Having lost that match, Ghana has now turned attention to a friendly against Ivory Coast this weekend.
