'We Really Missed Him!' Ousmane Dembélé Reveals His Delight at Return of BVB Teammate

Borussia Dortmund forwardOusmane Dembélé has expressed his delight at the return of PortugueseinternationalRaffael Guerreiro, who has been ruled out since early November with a back injury.


The 23-year-old trained with the squad for the first time since November this week, and he for one was jubilant at his upcoming return to first-team action.

Guerreiro toldDortmund's official site:"I felt really good. It is now my target to take it step by step and to be ready for the next league game."


Dembélé, who has scored four times this season, added:"We missed him because of his strength in the way he plays, his speed and the way he can control the ball. We really missed him."


Guerrero continued: "It was very difficult watching from the sidelines. I tried not to get too down about it."

Despite challenging Bayern Munich for the title right until the end last season, Dortmund have struggled this time around as they sit in 6th after 16 games.


Thomas Tuchel's side are already 12 points behind champions Bayern Munich and nine points behind second-placed underdogs RB Leipzig.


They will be hoping to get back to winning ways on January 21st as they travel to struggling Werder Bremen, who are only three points above the dreadeddrop-zone.
