Maxwell Konadu, the Kotoko head coach has admitted that Kotoko should have carried the day against Asokwa Deportivo in the FA Cup.
Konadu spoke to Kotoko Express after the crisis meeting and stated that the team can do better after their shocking loss.
“We believe that we can do better. We believe that we can do more and we believe that Kotoko deserves more than it is enjoying right now. We have been in this and when players decide to do something out of their own will, sometimes, it is better than even forcing them to do it".
He added: "We as technical team please we also need to know that whatever they are enjoying here they have to give back and give it in abundance even though anything can happen in football but when we go into a match and we take the lead against Deportivo, at least we should have carried the day based on what we told our boys and based on which competition we were involved in”.
