Chief Executive Officer of Kotoku Royals Football Club, Linford Asamoah Boadu says they ensure fans of the club benefit from their partnership with Ghana’s National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

Kotoku Royals together with Nsoatreman, Samartex, and Tamale City Football Clubs have secured a partnership with NHIA ahead of the new season.

“We will do our best to ensure that all our supporters in and around Akyem Kotoku benefit from this partnership. We are going to promote the NHIS program because if we are using football to ensure that Ghanaians or our supporters get medical care then we are for it…we will make sure we are going to register them at the game centers” the Kotoku Royals CEO stated.

NHIA CEO Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye was on hand at the unveiling and stressed the importance of registering every Ghanaian on to the health scheme.

Kotoku Royals like the other three beneficiaries of this deal are set to make their debut in the Ghana Premier League when the competition kicks off on September 9.
