The Phobians kicked off their campaign on a poor note which led to the sacking of Samuel Boadu.

Serbian trainer, Slavko Matic was named as the replacement for Boadu on a two-year deal.

However, the Rainbow Club has been inconsistent. The team were bundled out of the MTN FA Cup losing by a lone goal against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In the last Premier League, Hearts of Oak suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat against Real Tamale United.

However, ahead of their matchday 17 game against Berekum Chelsea at home on Saturday with kick-off scheduled at 15:00GMT, Opare Addo is convinced the team will improve under Matic.

"We did not start the season well and that led to the appointment of Slavko Matic," he told Accra-based Original FM.

"Slavko Matic has been good and he started well but I am confident we will get better through the second half of the season," he added.
