Highly-rated defender, Richard Osei Agyemang has expressed confidence in the quality of his Ashanti Gold SC side to reach the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Ghana Premier League giants have been selected together with regional rivals Asante Kotoko to represent Ghana in the 2020/2021 edition of the CAF inter-club competitions.
Speaking to Pure FM in an interview, Richard Osei Agyemang has noted that Ashanti Gold SC will get to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
“I have the confidence that Ashanti Gold SC will reach the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup this year.
“Last year's participation has given us a lot of experience and we are hoping to go far this time”, Osei Agyemang shared.
Ashanti Gold SC remains confident of doing well in the continent's inter-club competition and is busy securing the services of top players to give them a squad boost.
