Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ashanti Gold, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has indicated that his side will match RS Bekane boot for boot when the two sides clash this weekend in the second round of this year’s CAF Confederations Cup.
Having been paired to face each other at the end of the first round last month, the Ghana Premier League club is set to host their counterpart of Tunisia in the first leg of this tie.
Ahead of the match, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has noted that the encounter will not be easy. Hence he has shared that the Miners will match their opponent ‘boot for boot’ to ensure they run away with a vital win.
“The game won’t be easy for both teams but Ashgold SC will carry all the 3points on Saturday”.
“RS Berkane have a very strong team but my players will match them boot for boot on Saturday”, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong said in an interview with Ashh FM.
Nonetheless, Champion, as he is affectionately called, is looking forward to a massive win and has called on all supporters of the club to troop to the stadium on the matchday.
