We will never give up on finishing in a better position - Legon Cities coach Maxwell Konadu

The head coach of Legon Cities FC, Maxwell Konadu is confident that his team will escape relegation at the end of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

According to the experienced gaffer, his team is not giving up on finishing in a respectable position.

On Monday, the team, unfortunately, suffered a setback when they lost 3-2 against Bibiani Gold Stars.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Maxwell Konadu said he was still proud of his players.

He commended his players insisting that the team gave its best but unfortunately could not come away with the desired result.

“Proud of the performance of my boys today. They did well. This game was keenly contested. We gave our all but wasn’t enough sadly. We will keep fighting to escape relegation,” coach Maxwell Konadu said.

In the next Ghana Premier League match of the team, the Accra-based club will take on Kotoku Royals on April 14.
