We will pay what we owe CLOSEmarking Consult – Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah assures

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has assured that his outfit will settle the monies owed to CLOSEmarking Consult.

As reported by your most trusted online portal today, Court has ordered the Kumasi-based club to pay a sum of GHS120,000 to the firm or risk having its accounts frozen after seven days.

Reacting to the news in an interview on Asempa FM, Nana Yaw Amponsah has confirmed that the money will be paid.

“It is one of the issues we came to meet. The board chairman, [Dr. Kwame Kyei said he was going to handle it but it has not been sorted yet. We owe him and it is something that we have to pay.

“We believe in arbitration. When you owe you have to pay. We have to pay and we will pay them [CLOSEmarking Consult],” the Asante Kotoko CEO said.

CLOSEmarking Consult is owed for the role it played in the arbitration case between Asante Kotoko and Esperance at FIFA involving the transfer of midfielder Kwame Bonsu.
